Committed to the process

In the age of over saturation, I'm releasing a 12 song album

When was the last time you listened to a record start to finish?

Last Sunday I walked across Brooklyn listening to Radiohead’s “In Rainbows.” I let the songs carry me from Crown Heights to Bed Stuy, coloring the sidewalks and adding texture to each park and cafe I passed along the way. The city sounds blended with the music creating new versions of familiar places and lulling me into a state of deep self-reflection. It’s rare to take the time to sit with yourself in this way these days.

4U has been a long process of sitting with myself.

Each song on this album its own winding path- from the seed of an idea to the moment captured on tape and then molded over months. Every detailed combed over to craft a story that is honest and true to the initial spark that birthed the song.

I’ve spent weeks shuffling tracks around to find the sequence that takes the listener on an evolution. I’ve even scrapped songs I’ve worked on for months because they didn’t do justice to the experience (I may share these for you later on!) Last night I laid out each song in order, meticulously deciding how much space to place between each track.

Every move I’ve made is intentional. And the closer I get to completing this project, the closer I am to making peace with the stories I’m telling in this album.

But I was never meant to hold onto this music. It’s all 4U. An offering straight from my heart to yours so that you too may transform a part of your story.

I hope you can be there on Thursday, September 25th as we listen to the album together for the first time, in its entirety.

The event will feature:

  • A live performance

  • Intentional listening and space for reflection

  • Complimentary cocktails & non-alcoholic options

  • A dance party!

How perfect is this space?

Come soak in this experience!
