3 Voice Memos

For the past year and a half I’ve been working on the most personal and intimate album of my life. I may be a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my music. I’ve been mixing for the last 9 months paying attention to every detail, re-tracking instruments and punching in single vocal takes to get it right. To counteract these perfectionist tendencies I decided to releases the complete opposite of a meticulously crafted song:

Consider this the prologue to the album I’ve been teasing for the last year now. Each song was captured in the moment I wrote it, heart poured onto the page. These three songs are reflections on falling in love. The simple moments that make you lose your breath. The head in the clouds, can’t fall asleep. The nervous excitement that accompanies putting your heart on the line.
